Perhaps this doesn't bother some folk, but I want EQ for Rhythmbox (my favourite music player) and Audio Recorder (brilliantly simple audio recorder for audio streams) ...

Hey Chris.....
Did you get "Audio Recorder" from somewhere ? I've had a look for it and it seems to be "discontinued" and I'm having some issues finding somewhere to download it from.....

I have installed Audio Recorder using PPA in Linux Mint 17.3 'Mate' :~

Code: Select all
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:osmoma/audio-recorder
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install audio-recorder

TBH I only use it occasionally, but it is handy !!!
- Caution - I couldn't install with when I tried with Mint 18 ...

Pardon for the delay in replying ...
- I only just noticed your post - Doh etc ...

Good luck,
