I've never been a flirt: I've used XFCE for the last 12 years, both at home (Ubuntu, Mint, Debian) and
in my EFL school (Ubuntu). This allows me to deploy Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on "crappy old machines" with little
or no trouble at all.

I use XFCE on all machines (OpenSUSE),except my experimental Linux Mint with Cinnamon, and I deliberately set it to a double click. That is I do not activate single click. This way the same habits can be used at home & home-work on Linux and at (paid) work in office on various Windows versions. Single click is nice but it is a B&*^%$ when you forget to do it on a Windows machine.
